November 17th, 2015: Join us for the NH Food Alliance Statewide Gathering
The NH Food Alliance will host a statewide gathering this fall to share our Farm, Fish, and Food Enterprise Viability Initiative. Together we will strengthen the entrepreneurial backbone of our food system while improving the health of our communities and sustaining our vibrant working landscapes.
Please join us to learn how to put the Viability Initiative to work and to celebrate our growing connections across the NH food system. We will welcome new network participants, share success stories, and enjoy delicious local food to inspire collaboration and action in the coming year.
What: NH Food Alliance Statewide Gathering - Celebrate, Learn, and Connect
When: November 17, 2015 from 10:00-3:00 (doors open at 9:00 for breakfast, networking, and information tables)
Where: Labelle Winery in Amherst, NH
Who: NH Food Alliance network partners, stakeholders, food system professionals, food producers, and interested members from the general public

Meals: A light breakfast and lunch will feature local and seasonal ingredients. There will be vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options available for lunch.
Tour and Tasting: After the day's events, there will be an optional wine tasting and tour from 3:00-3:30.

October 29, 2015: North Country Fruit and Vegetable Seminar and Trade Show at the Mountain View Grand in Whitefield
Topics will include small fruit, sweet corn and mushroom production, martketing, and food safety.

November 2, 2015: NH Pollinator Conference at the Grappone Center
Habitat loss, forage quality, pesticide use, pests, and diseases all impact bee health and diversity, threatening the health of our landscapes and food systems. The New Hampshire Pollinator Summit will cover current research-based information related to pollinator health, as well as ongoing local and regional efforts to support and protect bee pollinators on-the-ground.

November 10, 2015: NH Farm to School Conference at Mill Falls in Meredith-- POSTPONED TO SPRING 2016
Registration is open for this day long event on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in Meredith. The conference will offer 15 workshops, breakfast and lunch, keynote speakers, resource tables and raffle prizes. Workshop topics include school gardens, farm to school action planning, USDA procurement, Harvest Lessons, seasonal menu writing, composting in schools, and more! Betsy Rosenbluth, the program director at VT FEED and Steven Marinelli, food service director of the Milton, VT School District, are co-keynotes.
