What's on Your Plate: Expanding Our Network
and Strengthening our Food System
Hosted by the Lakes Region Food Network
Tuesday, September 16th
9:00am - 12:00pm
Pittman's Freight Room, Laconia, NH
This event is hosted by the Lakes Region Food Network (LRFN) in collaboration with the GROW Lakes Region Grant and NH Food Strategy.
The overarching goal of this event is to expand involvement within the Lakes Region Food Network through the collective impact framework. LRFN is interested in connecting with other key players and voices throughout the food system within the Lakes Region and across the state to further their mission, which is to create an environment where people and organizations can access information and resources, find one another, and discover ways to work together to realize the vision for the Lakes Region Food System.
Along those lines, LRFN has teamed up with the GROW Lakes Region grant (a Lakes Region HEAL initiative) and the NH Food Strategy effort to help align efforts and continue to build this network. Additional goals for this gathering include a) kicking off the GROW Lakes Region grant project with the intention to increase access to and consumption of healthy foods for Lakes Region residents, and b) identify shared goals and short and long term actions that will contribute to a robust, equitable, and healthy food system in NH.
